At Kansas City Cannabis, our team is made up of passionate people from all walks of life. At our KC North location, one budtender is bringing that passion from the dispensary floor straight into the MMA cage. Meet Dylan Reischman, better known in the MMA world as “Dirty Dylan.”
By day, he’s helping customers find the right products, answering questions, and creating a welcoming experience for everyone who walks through the doors at KCC. Outside of work, he’s a professional MMA fighter training at Ignite MMA under UFC veterans Zak Cummings and Jason High.
For him, cannabis and martial arts both center around balance, discipline, and recovery. “My journey with cannabis started through personal experience and seeing how much it helped people around me,” he shared. “Over time, I became more interested in the plant, the culture, and the positive impact it can have when people are educated and guided the right way.”
That passion eventually led him into the cannabis industry, where education and connection have become some of the most rewarding parts of his role as a budtender at Kansas City Cannabis.
Whether someone is brand new to cannabis or is a longtime enthusiast, he believes the best experiences come from asking questions and taking the time to learn what works best for each individual. “Since everyone’s tolerance, goals, and experience level differ, it’s important to listen first and guide people responsibly.”
As both a cannabis consultant and athlete, he’s experienced firsthand how cannabis can support recovery and relaxation. “As a professional fighter, I put my body through a lot, so having something that helps me unwind and recover has been valuable.”
One of his favorite go-to products is VIBE’s Gastro Pop rosin, which he says stands out for helping him fully relax after hard training sessions and long days.
While he’s passionate about cannabis, martial arts has also been a defining part of his journey. He’s been training jiu-jitsu for 12 years, dedicating himself to the discipline and mindset that come with professional fighting. His path hasn’t been without adversity. During his professional debut, he suffered a broken femur during a fight — a setback that became part of a larger comeback story built on resilience, discipline, and determination. Now after fully recovering, Dylan is preparing for his upcoming fight on June 5th at the Lake of the Ozarks, where we are excited to see his intense skills in real time.
He is proud to represent Kansas City Cannabis both inside and outside the cage, and says being part of KCC has helped him grow personally and professionally through communication, teamwork, and community support. As his fight approaches, KCC is proud to support one of our own as he prepares for his upcoming bout next month. This won’t be the last you will see of him, stay tuned for exclusive behind-the-scenes content, training features, and more as we follow his journey leading up to fight night.
Be sure to stop by our KC North location to stop in and say hello! While ‘Dirty Dylan’ may be intimidating in the cage, outside of it he’s one of the most positive and welcoming people you’ll meet. And keep an eye on KCC’s social channels for upcoming content and fight updates!
